Nerf’s New ‘Aliens’-Themed Pulse Blaster Is Ready to Battle the Xenomorphs

No one can deny the thrilling excitement of James Cameron’s Aliens franchise, nor how much it has influenced sci-fi and pop culture at large. Now, thanks to a collaboration with Hasbro, you’ll be able to buy your own Nerf Pulse Blaster and battle any Xenomorphs you encounter.

As Corporal Dwayne Hicks said to Ripley, “I wanna introduce you to a personal friend of mine.” Although the Nerf Aliens M41A Pulse Blaster probably won’t do as much damage as Hicks’ rifle, we think it looks even cooler, thanks to its striped paint job and bright yellow coloring. It’s the perfect tribute to the game-changing franchise, and a great way to celebrate its 35-year anniversary.

The blaster can launch two unique types of foam darts. It can fast-blast 10 Elite darts in a row thanks to its fully motorized blaster or shoot a Nerf Mega dart with pump-action blasting. Heck, it even has an LCD screen that automatically tracks how many darts you have left, so you can plan your attack more carefully and not be taken by surprise when it’s time to reload.

In addition to the blaster, the package also includes a removable 10-dart Elite dart clip, 10 Nerf Elite foam darts, and 4 Nerf Mega foam darts. You’ll need to supply the four 1.5v C alkaline batteries that power the blaster, along with any eyewear you want to don.

The Nerf Aliens M41A Pulse Blaster is currently available for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse and GameStop. It’ll set you back a hair under $95, and the pre-order cutoff date is on October 31, 2021. Hopefully, no pesky Xenomorphs will pop up before then….
